• On the subsequent day, assemble the ice-water mixture by layering ice in one 5-gallon bucket, adding frozen weed on top, then more ice.
• Fill the bucket with sufficient water to submerge the weed and ice.
• Allow it to rest for at least 20 minutes to promote trichome breakage.
• In the second bucket, arrange the bubble bags from the finest mesh at the bottom to the coarsest mesh at the top.
• Continuously agitate the weed and ice mixture in the first bucket for 20 minutes to dislodge trichomes.
• Transfer the mixture into the topmost bubble bag in the second bucket.
• Gradually remove each bag, enabling the mixture to flow into the subsequent bag through the mesh, beginning from the coarsest to the finest mesh.
• Spoon the wet hash onto a drying sheet upon reaching the bag with the finest mesh.
• Allow it to air dry for 2-3 hours, then shape it into patties or balls and further dry for 1-2 days before consumption.
• Some hash makers also gather product from coarser bags to create hash patties, such as from the sixth and seventh bags out of eight.
• Bubble hash is evaluated on a star rating system, with six-star hash being the most refined and one star being the least refined.
• High-grade ice water hash may also be known as “full melt” or “ice wax.”
• Optionally, specialized washing machines can be used to agitate bubble hash, but refrain from using your regular clothes washing machine.

Creating Dry Sift Hash (Brick Hash)

Instructions:

• Stack the screens on top of each other with the finest screen at the bottom and the coarsest on top, setting them up on a clean, dry surface.
• Rub the cannabis material over the top screen. Trichomes will fall through to the next screen.
• Continue rubbing until no more trichomes are extracted.
• Scrape the trichomes from each screen using a credit card or similar tool, moving them to the next screen for further refinement.
• Repeat this process with each successive screen to refine the hash further.
