Because they can be eaten anytime and anywhere, muffins are a versatile food. If you have the chance to eat one fresh out of the oven, it’s an incomparable experience. And if that muffin is made with cannabis? Well, then some people say it’s actually healthy for you. For example, blueberries contain antioxidants which help eliminate free radicals in your system. They’re also low in fat but high in fiber and manganese (which helps turn fats and carbs into energy). So all things considered, herbe muffins might not be such a bad idea after all.
Ingredients
- ½ cup 100 percent vegetable oil
- 6 grams ground cannabis or three grams full melt hash (no straining necessary)
- ½ a cup water
- Blueberries
- Cake Flour
To extract THC from canna, first measure oil and pour it into a room-temperature frying pan. Then add canna to the oil and heat the mixture. Let it simmer for about 20 minutes using medium heat. As the oil and the canna boil together, the plant’s medicinal value is transferred to the oil. Finally, increase temperature to high heat for maximum extraction of THC’s
After the required time has passed, take the frying pan out of the oven and let it cool. Once cooled, use a strainer to remove the plant mix. After most of medicinal oil is strained, press down on the plant waste with a spoon to get all remaining oil. You can then dispose of the plant waste (it’s unusable at this point) and set aside the extracted oil.
To make the cake, begin by whisking together the cake mix and oil in a bowl. Add three eggs and continue to stir until everything is combined. Next, pour the mixture into a mixer and blend on low speed so that there are no air pockets. To finish it off, gently fold in blueberries until you reach your desired color.
Add the blueberries to the mixture and fold them in until they are distributed well. Then, take a spoon and scrape down the sides of the bowl. After that, add the mixture to muffin cups (should be only ¾ full). Put all of the cups on a tray and then transfer it into a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Bake for 20 minutes; halfway through, spin the tray around so that each muffin is warmed evenly.
Let the muffins cool for 20 minutes after taking them out of the oven, then enjoy!
